I was 17 when I was diagnosed with severe scoliosis. Due to this significant curvature, I had to live with a constant excruciating pain every day that was only getting worse and worse. It made even the simplest, ordinary daily activities, such as sports, dancing or taking longer walks extremely difficult.
At first, we tried to improve my condition with physical therapy, but it was not sufficient. It seemed like my active lifestyle was over. I was utterly devastated.
My doctor suggested Pilates as a possible treatment. My pain started to vanish almost immediately, which gave me a ray of hope and a tremendous amount of willpower and motivation.
Although I still have my abnormal spinal curvature, I can live a full, healthy, and pain-free life thanks to Pilates. I do believe that I can use this form of movement to help others as well to achieve a quality life. I am working as Fitness and Pilates instructor in Hungary, but I have already trained a number of people from Sydney to Florida.
My journey is still on, I continue training myself to help people achieve a life of balance and harmony.
